What You Need To Know About Insurance and Biker Protection

At KAUFMANN & ANASTASIA we provide our clients with vital information regarding their insurance policy in relation to biker protection and motorcycle accidents. If you don't understand what your policy protects, discuss your policy with us.

What You Need To Know About Biker Protection

We do not sell insurance, but we do understand the ins and outs of motorcycle insurance, and know that your basic policy does not protect you or your passenger fully for injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Since medical insurance is normally not offered through a motorcycle insurance policy, it is extremely important that you are well insured under your uninsured and underinsured motorist coverages opting for minimum limits of $100,000.  We strongly suggest protecting yourself and your rider and purchasing at least $100,000 in uninsured and underinsured motorist coverages as the premium cost for this added protection is inexpensive and will be worth it!  Call us at 1-877-CYCLE-LAW (1-877-292-5352) for a FREE CONSULTATION and we will be glad to discuss this critically important issue!

Are You Fully Insured?

Almost every biker thinks they are fully insured when they have insurance coverage in place. This is simply not accurate and needs to be understood.  Most States permit a licensed driver to operate his or her car with a minimum liability coverage in the amount of $15,000.  If this person causes an accident with a biker who does not have UNDERINSURED MOTORIST COVERAGE and seriously hurts the biker resulting in injuries, lost wages and medical bills, the most that can be recovered through insurance would be the MINIMUM $15,000.00!!!   If the biker purchased underinsured motorist coverage, the biker and rider will have an additional $100,000 each in coverage for which to make a claim if the bike is insured for $100,000 in underinsured motorist coverage.

Hit-and-Run Accidents

Hit-and-run accidents where the vehicle that caused your injury leaves the scene are considered uninsured and you can recover from your own insurance company as long as you purchased UNINSURED MOTORIST COVERAGE.  Also, it will protect you in the event you are hit by an uninsured driver.  This coverage is not expensive and you are not fully covered without it.  CALL US AND WE WILL REVIEW YOUR POLICY WITH YOU AT NO CHARGE.  CALL US TODAY AT 1-877-CYCLE-LAW (1-877-292-5352).
